We are seeking an additional driver to join our team of driving professionals at Pro-Ex Transport Inc. We are currently looking for a driver in the Labrador City/Wabush areas. This position is suitable for reliable, self-motivated team players with a strong work ethic and the availability to work flexible hours. The schedule for this position involves working for 2 weeks and then having 2 weeks off.
At Pro-Ex Courier, a division of the Pike Group we are proud of our long and successful history within the transportation industry. As a contracted mail carrier for Canada Post since 1984, we have been entrusted with the important work of delivering mail and parcels throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick.
The position requires the ability to:
· Load and unload packages to a Max of 50 LBS
· Oversee the condition of the vehicle.
· Perform daily pre-and post-trip inspections.
· Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in the role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
· Possess a valid Class 5.
· Have a clean driving abstract.
· Have at least 2 years of driving experience.
· Demonstrate an excellent safety record.
· Possess efficient, reliable, and professional customer service skills.
· Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Must be bondable.
