Crystal Lodge is currently seeking to recruit a Seasonal Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team for the upcoming winter! The role of Night Auditor predominately produces, analyses, reconciles and checks reports from the days' transactions, payments and reservations. Some of the tasks you would be required to complete include, but are not limited to:
Completion of an informative and up-to-date with the Front Office team prior to their departure to ensure that you have the required information you need for your overnight tasks.
Complete any remainder guest check-ins for the day.
Run and balance daily transactions for the day ensuring the accuracy of information provided.
Investigate, correct and advise on any discrepancies found with audited reports to the appropriate members of management.
Complete walk-in reservations in a timely and proficient manner ensuring that all rates and charges are calculated accordingly.
Handle any guest inquiries and concerns in a prompt manner.
Produce reports and paperwork in preparation for the next day’s arrivals.
Complete paperwork checks ensuring that all guest information on file is up to date and those that have departed are filed appropriately.
Assist guests with valet parking/ ski valet and bike valet (season depending)
Ensure that guests follow the hotel’s noise policy and manage any concerns.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within hospitality, however full training will be provided. Experience working within a customer service environment and night-shifts is an asset. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills with an eye for detail along with strong time management skills. The ability to stay motivated while working independently, with a proactive approach to resolve reporting errors and guest inquires, along with strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task is essential. Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly with Excel, is required. Whilst on duty, the position of Night Auditor is responsible for the safety and security of the hotel and its guests. Within this position, you are expected to lead by example and be an ambassador of the hotel ensuring that at all times the hotel is professionally represented.
