Medical Office Assistant
Seeking full-time permanent medical office assistant to join an ENT specialty surgical office (single physician) in North Vancouver. Will partner with experienced full time MOA.
This is an in-person position, and involves helping run specialty clinics for patients in the office.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Experience and training in Plexia EMR is an asset, but not required.
This is a busy surgical and procedural practice. Physician and senior MOA will support you and are motivated to see you succeed and be happy.
Opportunities for responsibility and salary growth. Varied administrative and technical tasks, not the same every day, perfect for experienced MOA looking for a new challenge. Successful candidate to learn how to perform skin prick allergy testing in office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Benefits:
This is an in-person position, and involves helping run specialty clinics for patients in the office.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Front reception
- Greeting patients
- Answering telephone
- Patient intake forms, scanning documents into patient charts
- Processing surgical consent paperwork
- Processing new referrals, creating patient charts, providing appointments
- Patient scheduling
- Exam room prep, bringing patients into exam rooms
- Cleaning of exam rooms
- Endoscope reprocessing (following existing protocols)
- Instrument cleaning and reprocessing
Experience and training in Plexia EMR is an asset, but not required.
