What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Food Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day execution of tasks in the Meat Department and will be involved in the planning for the direction of the department.
• You will ensure the efficient operation of the department to achieve all financial targets and deliver on budgeted KPI's.
• You will promote and ensure adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing efforts, and image standards.
• You will recruit, train, develop, coach and motivate the department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.
• You will ensure prompt, efficient and friendly customer service is provided at all times.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in food store operations. and:
• You have a high school diploma.
• You have 3 years of relevant meat cutting experience with 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• You have retail meat cutting certification or training.
• You’re familiar with retail operations and food safety standards.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
