Job Title: Maintenance/Renovations Worker

Schedule: Monday to Friday - on-call rotation required
Join Our Growing Team! Peace of Mind Management (POMM) is expanding and looking for a skilled, reliable team player to join our maintenance and renovations team! If you’re passionate about hands-on work and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
• Execute renovations, including LVP/Laminate flooring installation, painting, drywall repairs, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Manage work order workload efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate and communicate with tenants and team members to ensure timely service.
• Conduct door and window installation and repair, along with other miscellaneous repairs.

Candidate Requirements: We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, self-motivated, and possesses excellent problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will:

• Address issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients and tenants.
• Maintain all POMM tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, ensuring quick and efficient resolutions to minimize disruptions.
• Adhere to safety protocols while performing maintenance/reno tasks.
• Keep a keen eye for detail to maintain a high level of quality in all work.
• Demonstrate very good communication skills and a personable demeanor.
• Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Skills Required:

• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and tenants.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think on your feet.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and miscellaneous maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work well with others, understand and buy into our “team approach” to getting the job done and be willing to work outside the typical 8:30-4:30 workweek.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Your own basic tools required for the job.
