Your Daily Contribution & Impact:
Schedules and visits established customers in order to maintain and increase sales to that customer, based on an understanding of the customers’ business need
Takes orders from customers to renew their inventory, adds new items to their inventory, quotes on new equipment when needed; manages customer returns when appropriate
Expands existing customer base by identifying and soliciting new customers
Maintains a positive relationship with the customer; ensures that there is also a positive relationship with store personnel
Conducts themselves in a professional manner in order to enhance the corporate image of the company
Utilizes the computer system, internet and paper catalogs to identify the correct parts for the customer’s needs
Effectively communicates product features, benefits and warranty information to customers in order to present a value proposition
Utilizes sales process and CRM tools to manage territory pipeline and opportunity
Provides exceptional customer service
Ensures customers parts and supply orders are accurately filled and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Displays a positive, helpful attitude and known to be a team player.
Expertise & Essential Skills:
Industrial and Automotive Parts experience
Experience in outbound sales; maintaining and growing new business
Experience delivering a high level of customer service
Territory management experience
A proficient knowledge of automotive operating systems
An appetite for continuous learning and knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willing to travel in and around the Vernon area (may require occasional overnight stays elsewhere to service customers)
