Homestead Co-op is hiring a Part Time with Benefits Grocery Clerk/Cashier at our Portage la Prairie Food Store location.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Front End Manager your duties will include, but are not limited to; merchandising of product ensuring department standards are met, housekeeping and inventory control. Must also be willing to learn the cashier duties such as: efficient and accurate operation of the point of sale equipment, following company policies and procedures with respect to credit and debit cards, cheques, coupons, loss prevention, out of stock items, file maintenance and customer service.
Proven abilities in the following competencies is considered an asset:
1. Customer Focus – Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
2. Collaborates – Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
3. Interpersonal Savvy – Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
4. Action Oriented – Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm.
