We are seeking a vigilant and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to maintain a safe environment for our guests and employees. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring the premises, handling any security issues that arise, and ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Job Description:
We are seeking a vigilant and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to maintain a safe environment for our guests and employees. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring the premises, handling any security issues that arise, and ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor the interior and exterior of the shop to deter theft, vandalism, and other security issues.
- Assist in managing customer flow and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Handle any disruptive behavior or emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Work with the management team to identify potential security risks and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and protocols.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Valid BC Security License
- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Preferred Occupational First Aid Level 2
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable, available, independent nature, of sound character and a team player
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Professional demeanor in stressful situations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
