To provide efficient and timely onsite equipment service to assigned customers for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment located in protein processor plants. WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
Understands customer requirements relating to problems to products and equipment.
Services customer equipment, where applicable, to maintain optimum performance of equipment, packaging films and shrink bag materials.
Provides preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support for Rotary Chamber and other flexible plastic packaging equipment at customer facilities using Amcor materials.
Maintains accurate and timely reports on work activities and time utilization.
Assists in the installation and start-up of all packaging equipment manufactured and sold by AFNA.
Assist in the rebuilding of Rotary Chamber equipment in Amcor’s RE&D facility in New London, WI.
Provides input, as requested, into the design, installation and start-up of packaging equipment manufactured by outside suppliers or RE&D.
Establishes and maintains effective relations with customers, sales personnel and internal AFNA staff personnel.
Completes relevant reporting within 5 days, completes expense reports within a month of business trip and turns in weekly schedules within designated time frame.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Education: Technical Degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical technology or similar discipline preferred. Megatronics training and certification preferred.
Physical demands: The duties of this position require that the associate be able to drive, stand, walk, use hands to manipulate tools and parts, stoop, kneel, talk, hear and have good near and far vision acuity and effective depth perception.
The position requires the ability to climb and balance and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Experience: 1-2 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery)
Willing to travel 75% or more and holds a valid driver’s license
