Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for over 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables in the areas.
We are currently looking for an Equipment Rental/Sales (Front Counter) Representative to join our team at our Peace River branch.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing quality customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
- Advising and recommending equipment and consumables to customers.
- Processing sales and rental transactions
- Maintaining a high level of customer service with thorough product and service knowledge
- Creating work orders for damaged or defective equipment
- Verifying received shipments by checking order against shipping documents and notifying management of any discrepancies and omissions
- Keeping shelf selection areas stocked, clean, and orderly
Required skills and education:
- 2-3 years experience in the rental industry or proven knowledge of construction, forestry, and oilfield equipment.
- Ability to work Monday- Friday and be a part of a weekend and on-call schedule
- Excellent customer skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including programs Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the ability to learn our internal software
