ECE Administrator / Early Childhood Educator (ECE), School Age Staff (MQW)
Job Overview Learnstar After School Progams offers licensed school age child care at or near various schools throughout the province. We are seeking part time staff to join our After School Child Care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the Learn Star After School Program in Mary Queen of the World from school dismissal 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The program runs from September to June (school year) annually. To be employed in the field of early childhood education and to successfully fulfill field placement requirements, employee must be able to guide and assist children consistently, lift/carry materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds) when necessary. Also, physical effort, strength and endurance is required in the supervision and care of children, e.g., maintaining balance, kneeling and bending, and moving quickly to assist children in emergency situations. Certificates, Licences, and Courses required: ECE Administrator:
Early Childhood Education Diploma with Level 2 School Age AECENL certification
Standard First Aid Training Certificate (2-day course)
Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
Early Childhood Education Diploma with Level 1 School Age AECENL certification
Emergency First Aid Training Certificate (1-day course)
Both ECE Administrator and ECE candidate should provide the following additional requirements:

Education:
Degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Child and Youth Care or equivalent combination of training, certification and experience
