Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic Orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a compassionate individual who is committed to enhancing the patient experience and ensuring a smooth workflow within the office.
Responsibilities
Assist Orthodontist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take and develop panoramic and cephalometric radiographs, digital scans and patient photos as needed.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dolphin software, ensuring all information is up-to-date.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
Manage patient flow within the office
Collaborate with orthodontic procedures when necessary, providing support to both patients and the dental team
Experience
Must have Dental Assistant credentials
Familiarity with Dolphin Software is highly desirable
Knowledge of orthodontics is an asset
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
