Data Entry Clerk
Ascent Helicopters is a dynamic helicopter charter company in Parksville, BC celebrating it’s 20th anniversary of operations in 2025. We work across a variety of industries, and specialize in powerline construction and maintenance as well as Air Ambulance. Ascent has recently been awarded a 10-year contract with BCEHS to provide rotary wing Air Ambulance service to the entire province.
We are currently looking for candidates, located in the Parksville area, with a very high attention to detail and administrative skills to perform data entry in our maintenance department. This will be a full-time in-office position, based in Parksville. Candidates with a background in bookkeeping, accounting, medical records, or other professions that require a meticulous and detail-oriented approach would be a good fit for this role. Aviation knowledge is preferred but not required for this role.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Ensure records are properly completed by the Maintenance and Flight Operations personnel
- Enter record information accurately into the software and update information as needed
- Maintain, update and control the maintenance planning program
- Audit records, files, and documentation following regulatory requirements and organizational policy and procedures.
- Review the currency of technical publications, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives. Alert the Director of Maintenance of any Service Bulletins or Airworthiness Directives that may affect the Company’s aircraft.
- Attention to detail is the most critical aspect of this position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Comfortable learning new software
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to learn and take on new challenges
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
