Customer Service Associate
Job Type: Seasonal. 30-40 hrs/week, (December to June)
Hours of Work: 8am - 4:30pm (Weekend work is required)
Salary/Wage: Starting at $16.25/hr

THE COMPANYT&T Seeds is at the starting line of gardens in Canada and has been since 1946 providing a robust and diversified selection of flower and vegetable seeds, seedling fruit and non-fruit trees, shrubs, perennial bulbs, plants, nutrients and gardening supplies. Our proprietary production processes and tailored fulfillment operations, combined with our expertise in gardening and customer care aim to help our customers thrive.
Serving Canadians, coast to coast with our online, phone and local garden center sales channels, we focus on gardeners of all sizes with an expertise in supplying and supporting small to midsize gardens and farms. Whether a garden is for supplying families, grocers, communities or manufacturers we are there.
THE POSITIONReports to the Manager of Customer Success and Fulfillment, the incumbent will be responsible for answering phone calls and emails, taking phone orders, handling customer concerns, answering website chats and processing mail and fax orders.
REQUIREMENTS
■ Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
■ Ability to work well in a team setting and individually
■ Knowledge in gardening
■ Working knowledge of computers
■ Strong customer service skills
■ Excellent conflict resolution skills
■ Must love dogs! (We are a dog-friendly business)
