Overview:
We have an opening for Continuous Improvement Specialist. This is a permanent position based out of our Charlottetown, PEI facility.
The Continuous Improvement Specialist at Bio Vectra plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence throughout the organization. You would be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across all business functions, with a particular emphasis on Manufacturing Operations. You will also collaborate with key stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize efficiency, improve compliance, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.
What The Role Looks Like:

Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives that yield measurable results, particularly within Manufacturing Operations.
Lead and facilitate Kaizen events aimed at driving continuous improvement in key areas.
Develop and maintain metrics to effectively track and measure the impact of process improvements.
Regularly analyze operations KPIs to uncover opportunities for improvements.
Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to all related projects and activities, ensuring best practices are followed.
Collaborate with business leaders to sustain a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Mentor and coach cross-functional teams in identifying opportunities and executing improvement projects.
Assist in training employees on the proper application of Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.

What You will Bring to the Team:

Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of successfully creating and executing project plans that meet or exceed objectives.
Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated knowledge is essential,
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
Extensive knowledge on process improvement tools and methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning to execution.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Process engineering, or equivalent degree and experience.
