TEMPORARY & PART TIME
Construction Labourer/ Equipment Operator
Frontier Drainage is looking for general laborers to join our team working projects across Manitoba.
If your looking for start in the construction industry with opportunities for on the job learning in equipment operation, GPS, hand tools, and construction operations.
Starting wage based on experience. Time and a half over 10 hours a day or 50 hours a week.
Duties
We cover meals and hotel accommodations. We are able to arrange transportation to job site.
Scheduling
We can be flexible on shift lengths but typically they last 2-3 weeks on the job.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70 – 85 per week

Duties
- Operate hand and power tools.
- Aid in the installation of drainage systems.
- Operating tractors, dozens, excavator when necessary.
- Moving and organizing construction materials.
- Perform daily equipment maintenance.
- Further duties will be assigned daily by supervisor.
- Baseline fitness. Capable of being on feet for extended periods of time. Able to lift weight in excess of 50lb.
- Able to carry out duties on uneven terrain. Walk in and out of trenches.
- Shift work. Must be able to travel for work.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to work alone or in teams.
- Steel toe footwear required.
- Understanding of safe work practices.
- Able to adapt on the job site.
