Chicken Grower
This job is not all that difficult, however it is slightly physically demanding at times but not always. A lot of walking required.
Growers are required to have skills such as:
Observant
Diligence
Good Communication
And cooperation
Growers are also required to perform the following tasks:
Walking through barns
Making small repairs on feed lines and water lines (no mechanic skills required)
Pick up any birds that have died of natural causes
Euthanasia
Set up barns
Helping with bringing in birds and shipping them.
And managing feed and water within the barn.
Hours guaranteed per week: 42.5
Growers work every other weekend on chores (4 hours in the am each morning) .
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.63 per hour (TO START)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
Schedule:
