Responsible for all general duties as directed by the department manager. The cashier must have a strong commitment to customer service, helping where needed. All applicants must be able to legally work in Canada.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for all general duties as directed by the department manager. The cashier must have a strong commitment to customer service, helping where needed. All applicants must be able to legally work in Canada.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete understanding of all cash register functions and maintain accurate cash control
- Be able to identify all items in the produce and bakery departments
- Offer a greeting to every customer you come into contact with
- Offer assistance to any customer looking as if they need help
- Pack groceries for customers as often where possible
- Accurately stock shelves, facing up stock and managing signage where required
- Clean out checkout area at the end of the night
- stock, stock shelves, and assist as directed by the Grocery Manager and/or Store Manager.
- Positive attitude, flexibility and customer service experience are all important.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Additional tasks and duties as required or requested by supervisor.
