Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves building, restoring, and assembling various structures and fixtures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks.
• Assemble furniture, cabinets, and other wooden items as required.
• Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
• Perform construction painting as needed for finishing touches on projects.
• Install roofing systems and siding according to specifications.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in carpentry work.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

Qualifications

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
