Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble structures such as cabinets, shelves, and doors
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete projects
- Lay tiles and flooring as needed
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of construction estimating and planning
- Ability to plumb, level, and square structures accurately
- Maintenance Person skills are a plus
Wages can be discussed and will depend on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Pay: $15.60-$25.80 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
