Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working on a variety of construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Carpenter will collaborate with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects from start to finish.
Duties
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Perform caulking, drywall installation, and finishing work to ensure a polished final product.
- Lay tile and install siding as required for various projects.
- Assemble furniture and other structures as needed.
- Conduct construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects.
- Estimate materials and labor costs for upcoming projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques, drywall installation, siding application, tile laying, and construction painting is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $20.00-$25.71 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
