What our work looks like
This position is for the Lloydminster region. The Burner Technicians will work closely with our technical team of Instrumentation Technicians and Electricians. Your exposure to oil and gas field facilities in a previous role will make you a strong candidate for this role.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

What our work looks like
This position is for the Lloydminster region. The Burner Technicians will work closely with our technical team of Instrumentation Technicians and Electricians. Your exposure to oil and gas field facilities in a previous role will make you a strong candidate for this role.
Duties include:
- Install burner systems on oilfield tanks, treaters, dehy units, and line heaters.
- Perform burner preventative maintenance, trouble shooting, and service work.
- Grain dryer heater service work
- Complete required regulatory paperwork and ensure it is up to date.
- Work with the Regulators and Authorities having jurisdiction over the trade.
- Follow all codes and trade regulations.
- Attend and contribute to safety meetings.
- Experience within the Oil and Gas industry as a Burner Technician or with an Oil and Gas service company to understand our business would also be an asset.
- Knowledge of B149.3 gas codes
- Experienced with current BMS burner systems.
- Energetic, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and safety minded.
- Ability to work in sometimes challenging weather conditions.
- Candidates residing in the Lloydminster area are preferred.

- Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and a clean Drivers Abstract.
- Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing
- Red seal qualification documentation
- Two professional references
