Roadway Systems Limited is a leading electrical & underground utility infrastructure contractor located in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Roadway Systems Limited has developed a large client base that includes various municipalities, airport authorities, provincial highway departments, communication companies, private developers, universities, provincial & federal government departments & organizations as well as electric power service providers.
Duties:
· Installing underground direct buried conduits/ duct banks in trenches
· Compaction of backfill in trench over conduit systems
· The installation of precast and poured in place concrete foundations
· Set elevations and grades for roads, underground utilities, & slab prep
· Demonstrate attention to quality and details
· Installing concrete form work
· The placement of concrete for conduit systems and foundations
· Installing highway signs, signs posts and light poles
· Installing of lines and wire in underground conduit systems
· Various other similar or related duties may be assigned, as required
Requirements & Responsibilities:
· Valid Class 1 driver’s licence
· Punctual & reliable
· Ability to problem solve through coordination of Management
· Team player
· Able to work long hours
· Able to work out of town, if required
· Ability to do physical labor, if required
· Follow safe work procedures and participate in our safety program
· Complete all assigned tasks in a timely & efficient manner
· Must be comfortable in industrial/ civil settings
