We are currently seeking an individual to join our GCB team as baker!
Duties:

We are currently seeking an individual to join our GCB team as baker!
Duties:
- Operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment and facilities to uphold hygiene and safety standards
- Prepare dough for a variety of baked goods, including pies, rolls, bread, cookies, and cakes, by following appropriate recipes
- Maintain the bakery department according to company protocols, ensuring organization and cleanliness
- Adhere to company policies and enforce OH&S safety procedures diligently
- Proficiently operate multi-function process control machinery for efficient production
- Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as needed periodically
- Demonstrate creativity and a willingness to learn new techniques in baking
- Adaptability to work shifts as required, displaying flexibility in scheduling
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Previous bakery experience and/or knowledge and understanding of bakery products
- Passion for working in a team setting
- Must have good working knowledge of food quality, hygiene and sanitation, kitchen safety and food presentation
- Use of commercial kitchen equipment, sanitation, and safety practices
- Must have the ability to regularly walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 40-50 lbs.
- Involves frequent repetitive hand actions
- Required to reach above shoulder height and below waist level
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
