Ivan's AV is an audio visual integration firm that specializes in designing and installing professional sound, video, lighting, control, and communication systems. We are currently looking for experienced installers/technicians to join our team.

- Hotel and Hospitality The position requires performing comprehensive, onsite audiovisual equipment installation for our clients, to include, but not limited to, rack assembly, audio, video and control terminations, loudspeaker, video projector, flat panel and projection screen mounting as well as DSP programming, audio, video and control testing, system tuning and client instruction. Position duties and responsibilities include:
- Pull and terminate cabling to a variety of Audio/Visual equipment at a job site.
- Ability to solder and use hand tools (i.e. screwdriver, cutters, pliers, hole saw, electric drill).
- Crimp and terminate audio and video cables.
- Conducts tests on assembled systems.
- Run diagnostics or troubleshoot systems to identify and resolve operating problems or system wiring problems.
- Mount or fly audio and video hardware (speakers, displays, projectors, lighting, etc.).
- Audio DSP programming a plus, but not required.
- Build, configure, and wire rack systems.
- Install video conferencing, network, display and audio systems.
- Maintain inventory of equipment.
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, technical manuals and/or diagrams.
All individuals will need to have the following basic skills:
- Understanding audio, video and control flow.
- Working knowledge of computer networks and TCP/IP configuration.
- Possess skills in problem solving and trouble-shooting; along with creative thinking.
- Client, Project, and Site Management skills are a must.
- Ability to think & work independently and meet necessary deadlines.
- Ability to represent the company with a professional and courteous attitude toward clients and colleagues.
- Great communication skills and customer service attitude.
- PC proficient -- must already know your way around a computer.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
- Must be Bondable
- Reliable, self-directed, and responsible.

The physical demands are those that are necessary to meet the responsibilities and essential functions of this position. Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment, know how to solder and crimp connections, pull cable, lift up to 95lbs, and climb ladders / lifts to 35+ feet.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Professional/Commercial-level AV experience with audio visual integration and control systems is preferred but not required
- High school diploma plus additional specialized training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities has been acquired.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio or Auto CAD, Adobe Product Suite is also preferred.
- Experience in related industries will be considered (Pro AV rentals, home AV installation, electrical, etc.) - CTS, AMX, Crestron, PMI, PMP, Certifications are a HUGE plus Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $22.00-$29.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits:
