Assistant Restaurant Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional service to our guests, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and possess excellent team management skills.

Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Supervise and train staff members, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Manage inventory levels, including food preparation supplies and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions as needed.
- Support in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling regulations.
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of service.
- Experience in the food industry is essential; hotel experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
