Nova Fish Farms Inc. is an independent, Canadian owned, and full-integrated Steelhead Trout Farming organization that is rapidly expanding and is looking to add Aquaculture Site Workers to our team.

The same group has stated that aquaculture is a key step in reducing the burden on wild fish stocks while providing a sustainable and healthy food protein to consumers.
Nova Fish Farms Inc. has an extremely unique opportunity to bring sustainable Steelhead Trout to the North American market. As part of a company with locations in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Nova Fish Farms Inc. is positioned to rapidly expand our current production to meet consumer demand.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
· Providing support to the farm site through general husbandry operations from smolt to harvest
· Operating vessels to travel to work sites (longliners and skiffs)
· Operating machinery such as cranes, compressors, forklifts, etc.
· Feed inventory and tracking during shifts, feeding regimes
· Assist the utility crew in site setups
· Daily site maintenance
· Attention to record keeping
· Net washing
· Harvesting assistance
Other
· Must be eligible to work in Canada.
· The Aquaculture Site Worker is a labour-intensive position requiring standing for long periods of time, with heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, bending, kneeling, etc.
· Applicants must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions on multiple Aquaculture sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
