Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Apprentice Plumbers/Gas Fitters for work at our Compost project in Calgary, AB.

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
• Schedule: Monday - Friday

What You Will Be Working On

• Process piping and equipment installations
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems
• Install, maintain, and repair gas systems,
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans to determine the layout and requirements for plumbing and gas systems.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing and gas codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
• Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site

What We Are Looking For

• Valid Driver's License (not GDL)
• Valid Apprentice ticket
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
• At least 2 years of commercial experience
• The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
• Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
