As the Marketing Director, you will run marketing across the K-12 Education vertical in Canada and the Non-Profit and Human Services vertical across North America. You will be a key member of the sales and marketing team, as well as the extended executive team. You will play a vital role in our go-to-market strategies, managing a team comprised of customer marketing and demand generation professionals. The ideal candidate is data-driven, leads with insights, can set strategy, generate great ideas, and also roll up their sleeves to execute.

Responsibilities
Strategy Development
- Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of the market, customers, and competitors in the Non-Profit and K-12 Education sectors.
- Create compelling value propositions and update assets from website content to collateral materials.
Lead Generation and Pipeline Development
- Scale pipeline development and help accelerate opportunity velocity.
- Build awareness and opportunities through multiple channels such as Linked In, agencies, paid ads, SEO, PR, content marketing, etc.
- Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, performance metrics, and ROI analysis.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the marketing team.
- Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, services, and support teams to build our brand and opportunity pipeline.
Customer Advocacy and Content Creation
- Work with customers to create references, case studies, and success stories.
- Create and manage a compelling website and content strategy to enhance brand presence.
- Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
Data-Driven Insights and Reporting
- Implement dashboards with key metrics and provide strategic insights to the executive team.
- Utilize analytical skills to uncover trends and insights, optimizing marketing efforts.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Requirements

7+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong background in B2B and Saa S environments
- 3+ years of experience in the Non-Profit and municipal government industry verticals.
- 3+ years of proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns for lead generation
- Strong team leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a marketing team
- Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Demonstrated history of success in a growth business
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation, and analytics tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

Salary:
OTE CAD $185,000 ($160,000 base)
OTE USD $150,000 ($130,000 base)
