JOB DESCRIPTION
With Phibro’s recent purchase of Zoetis’ MFA product line, and in addition to several new Phibro Medicated Feed Additive (MFA), Nutritional Feed Additive (NFA) and Veterinary Medicinal poultry product launches planned for coming year – Phibro is in the process of greatly expanding its team in Europe.
As part of this, we have an exciting new position for a Planning and Purchasing lead based at our European Operations Centre in Wavre, Belgium.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production planning of our manufacturing site located in Italy to optimize operational efficiency together with the plant manager and to ensure adequate product supply to meet customer demand within required timeframes in the region.
This role will also be responsible for coordinating direct purchases that are required to support the production planning in coordination with the Plant Manager.
This role requires a deep understand of the Supply chain management and the ability to coordinate sales demand, stock inventory from different locations, and production capacity.
The planning and Purchasing manager will work with cross-functional teams (commercial, logistics, customer services, manufacturing, regulatory and quality) to guarantee the supply chain in the region.
The role will liaise with other manufacturing sites within the Phibro group to ensure the supply of intermediates to the European manufacturing site.

EDUCATION

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Degree in Purchasing management, Supply chain management, Engineering or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• Purchasing and planning experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical/animal health manufacturing sector.

• Mastery of planning tools: Familiarity with planning software (MS Project, ERP, etc.) and resource management techniques.
