As part of our Software Development team, you will:

Just so you know what to expect: The monthly gross salary for an internship is € 1,972 on a full-time basis. At Tractive, that means a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend.
As part of our Software Development team, you will:
- Contribute to architecture and API design
- Implement features that will reach customers in days
- Work in a fully containerized environment (Docker, AWS ECS)
- Optimize availability and scalability of existing services
- Keep an eye on application performance and site reliability with our monitoring solutions
- Help maintain and improve a high-availability infrastructure
- Stay up to date with state-of-the-art technologies
- Learn from experienced developers in an agile environment
- Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
- Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level
Key requirements:
- Ideally experience with Ruby and/or Java Script
- Ideally experience with Spring Boot, Kotlin and/or Java
- Interest in Dev Ops topics
- Ideally professional or personal project experience in the respective field
- Willingness to learn and to work as part of an awesome, international team
- Very good English skills
- Valid Austrian work permit or student at an Austrian university/FH
- You are a team player who is looking for exciting challenges
- Proactive, self-reliant, ambitious and motivated
- Eager to share your knowledge with your colleagues
- Excited to work in Austria alongside an outstanding team
