OSHC Assistant Director Trinity Gardens School OSHC, Trinity Gardens, Adelaide SA Childcare & Outside School Hours Care (Education & Training) Permanent Part-Time - 30-35 hours per week (minimum) Hours include Monday to Friday, Before School Care, After School Care, Vacation Care and Administration Trinity Gardens OSHC is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Director to join our team. You will have a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs. Your role will involve working closely with the OSHC Director to ensure the service meets all operating requirements and to provide a fun, safe environment for our school community. Responsibilities The successful applicant will need to support the Trinity Gardens School Values and have the capacity to:
Develop authentic relationships with students, families and staff
Create a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment
Assist with planning, development, implementation and evaluation of educational programs for students ELC-6.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and autonomously when required
Support the day-to-day operation of the service
Work collaboratively with school Leadership, OSHC Director, the OSHC Advisory Committee, Governing Council and all other stakeholders
Ensure the Service is compliant with all regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards
Essential Criteria
Diploma in Early Education and Care or Bachelor of Education or equivalent as per ACECQA Working with School Age Children Qualifications list
Current First Aid qualification, HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting or equivalent, including asthma and anaphylaxis, as prescribed by Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
Current Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Completion of Responding to Abuse, Risk of Harm and Neglect - Education and Care training
Attendance at out of hours’ meetings, training and service functions (Award / Agreement remuneration / conditions apply)
Knowledge of Protective Practices for staff in their interactions with children and young people.
A working knowledge of the ACECQA The National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time our Place
