About the role
The Team Leader Stores leads a team to provide support for the Future Industry and Trade business unit in TAFE SA and is focused on delivering professional support of business objectives with a high degree of customer focus.
The Team Leader Stores is the first level of supervision in the Operational Services Stream. Working under general direction the incumbent supervises Material and Consumable Supply Officers to deliver organisational outcomes through efficient and effective allocation of resources and adherence to established operating processes and procedures.
The Team Leader Stores may oversee a range of functions requiring the practical application of a high level of skills and knowledge, and/or the supervision of a medium size work group.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work will be required.
- The incumbent may need to travel to an alternative location, when required.
- Some intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
