Team Leader - HR Services Hub

About the role

  • Permanent full time opportunity to Lead the HR Services Hub team at the operational level within a centre of excellence in understanding of applied HR policy and entitlements, HR processes and administration with a continuous improvement agenda in identifying and implementing efficiencies in providing access to advice for team members and line managers across the Metro North workforce.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide support, advice, and leadership in the development and implementation of the Ask HR function and delivery of its services within the broader People and Culture Services Directorate.
  • Actively promote, lead, and facilitate people and culture solutions, advice, and support through the HR Services Hub Team in alignment with contemporary and current HR policy, guidelines, directives, and employment legislation.
  • Monitor the well-being and workloads of your HR Services Hub team members, providing de-briefs, education, and support initiatives where appropriate.
  • Remain abreast of contemporary human resource management trends and policies and liaise with internal stakeholders on changes or updates to current policy to ensure advice and support provided by the HR Services Hub team is appropriate and correct.
  • Provide a point of escalation for complex matters for your team members, ensuring that advice and support provided on such matters is relevant, contextual, and suitably tailored to suit the complex needs of the client.
