Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Lead will manage Home Care Staff (Coordinators and others) responsible for a variety of government funded programs (HCP, STRC and CHSP; including Social and Respite Centres) with often complex client needs, holding case conferences and providing direct support to older people in the community, promoting independence and wellbeing, facilitating connection with others, and working in partnership to meet individual goals. This is a fantastic growth opportunity for a coordinator looking to take that next step into a pivotal leadership role, enabling our passionate and committed Home Care Team, East Region to do their best work whilst supporting with quality initiatives, investigating incidents, managing recruitment and meeting operational KPI’s. About you Your passion for service delivery is second to none and with an authentic and open communication style you have the ability to positively influence and lead your team to success, fostering a positive, collaborative and inclusive team culture. You’ll have significant experience in delivering front line services within the aged care sector and bring energy, inspiration and the ability to contribute to Mercy Cares growth as a leader in the sector. Some experience leading a team of frontline workers in the Home Care environment is essential; we are Ideally seeking an individual we can support through their next phase of leadership learning! Your key experience will include:
Depth of experience delivering frontline services in aged care (essential)
Minimum of Cert IV in relevant industry.
Highly effective organisational and time management skills with proficiency across microsoft office
Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills across employees, service user, carers and familie S
Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor contractual performance indicators and adhere to relevant quality standards
Able to effectively manage and monitor budgets within specified parameters
National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
