What’s on offer?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Plant Operator to join our Asphalt Laying team based in Hazelmere. As part of this role, you will be required to work weekends, nights and away from home at times. We're looking for candidates with demonstrated asphalt/industry experience or a desire to learn and progress in a new industry.

Responsibilities will include:

Asphalt laying physical duties.
Mobile plant operation (e.g. pavers, rollers, skid steers, crew truck).
Road work construction and maintenance.
Safe operation near live traffic.
Attending toolbox meetings, pre-starts, risk assessments and project specific data capture.

What we need from you?

A valid HR vehicle licence.
Previous asphalt/paving experience is beneficial.
Availability to work overtime, weekends, nights and live away from home when required.
Construction Induction card.
An interest in working outdoors and in all weather conditions.

The pre-employment process will involve a medical check including drug and alcohol screening.
