The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Manager - Payroll Services, you will create and sustain a high level of assistance with the processing of the Company's payroll and Human Resources practices. The Payroll team is responsible for a fundamental component of what enhances employee satisfaction - remuneration. You will administer all aspects of Aveo's payroll requirements, by communicating with internal and external customers on a regular basis in a professional manner, at all times upholding the superior standards of Aveo.
What you'll bring
Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-volume payroll environment
Exposure working with time and attendance systems, specifically with Human Force
Chris21 system administration and payroll process experience (desirable)
Thorough knowledge of Australian payroll processing and legislative requirements
Proven experience in Payroll and Human Resources
Ability to rapidly decipher Award entitlements
Excellent accuracy and numeric skills
Excellent PC skills- Microsoft Office competency (essential)
Excellent organisation skills
A highly developed communication and interpersonal skills- ability to clearly express ideas, concepts or tasks orally or in writing
Demonstrated pragmatism and sound judgement skills- ability to make accurate and rational decisions based on logical assumptions and factual information
Confidentiality, professionalism, honesty
Ability to build rapport through proactive development of working partnerships with staff and clients at all levels
Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure
