You will be skilled at receiving the finished rice product and ensuring it is packed in line with Sun Rice high standards. You will also operate a forklift and contribute to the safe and engaging culture of Sun Rice Deniliquin.

Candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to health and safety in the workplace and maintain professional work ethics will be highly regarded.

Some attributes that will be sought after during the recruitment process are:

Knowledge of Food Safety requirements as they apply to a FMCG industry.
Knowledge and experience of Packing Operations, including operation of a packing line and understanding of packing machinery.
Forklift license or ability to obtain.
Understanding of HACCP
Record keeping ability and attention to detail.
Experience in performing quality checks on processes and products.
Ability to work as a team member as well as independently without supervision.
Proven adherence to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

Other:
Working conditions and wages will be commensurate with Sun Rice, AGS and Cop Rice Operations Employees Enterprise Agreement 2022-2025

Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational needs
Shift work is a requirement of this role
A pre-employment medical, referee’s checks and work rights check is part of the assessment process for recommended applicants.
Candidates may be required to undertake an aptitude assessment.
