VISY is a global leader in packaging, innovation, and sustainability, and we're looking for a New Work Supervisor to join our Fibre Packaging team at Carole Park, QLD. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring that tooling for new and existing jobs is managed efficiently in collaboration with Sales and Production.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating tooling with external suppliers, managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensuring that all new job setups and art requests are handled smoothly. You'll also support timely repairs for existing jobs, ensuring compliance with VISY's high standards of quality.
Role Details:
Located at our Carole Park site, the New Work Supervisor will be the primary point of contact between internal teams like Sales, Production, and Customer Service, and external suppliers such as Centerline and Kirks. You’ll lead a small team of New Work Clerks, working closely with the Customer Service Manager to drive department efficiency and deliver quality outcomes for our clients.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate tooling for new jobs and repairs to existing work with external suppliers.
- Manage the Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) system to ensure product quality.
- Organize the setup of new jobs, including art request processes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, and external suppliers to meet project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records in the Velocity system to track job progress and tooling.
- Ensure adherence to VISY values in all department activities.
