How you’ll make a difference
The position is based within the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Unit within the Infrastructure Maintenance Branch and works closely with supervisors, field staff, asset custodians and other members of the MPS team in planning, scheduling and processing planned and reactive maintenance work, utilising the SAP system and other associated systems and processes.
Key Deliverables of the position
- Support the development of proper maintenance work orders, including planning and scheduling of works, to ensure maintenance works are performed in a safe, timely, reliable and professional manner.
- Work within the Infrastructure maintenance work and asset management processes and contribute to enhanced use of technology (work management systems, mobile computing) to assist in the efficient management of resources and services.
- Lead and role model customer centred behaviour to ensure positive customer experience, with reliable communication with supervisors, field staff, customer contact, asset custodians, coordinators, and other relevant staff, as required.
- Work in partnership with your team leader toagreed performance standards and mutual expectations. Give and receive regular feedback to enable performance to be improved and take personal responsibility for optimising your potential within
the City.
What you bring to your new role
- High level of SAP maintenance experience or other maintenance management systems
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Highly developed time management skills and the ability to deal with competing priorities.
- Competently identify risk and apply appropriate resolutions
- Highly self-motivated, reliable with a drive to continually work toward achieving individual and team goals
- Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external clients
- C Class Drivers Licence
