About the Role
We are now seeking a pro-active Maintenance Fitter who is ready to make a positive impact to our Lidcombe site (NSW 2141). The position is full-time, permanent and with great opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities include:
- This position is responsible for performing mechanical work to ensure all plant remains in good working order.
- Ensuring mechanical maintenance functions including breakdown, preventative and project works are completed efficiently whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
- All work to be completed in line with food safety requirements.
- Partake in Preventative Maintenance program in order to achieve world class machine and line efficiency.
- Investigate failures and provide recommendation of improvements to reduce the risk of occurrence.
- Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions in order to promote efficiency.
- Complete all documentation to meet compliance and operational standards
- Shift work available
- Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and awareness
- Experience in a similar position.
- Trade qualifications are preferred
- Welding Skills (TIG, MIG, Stick, Oxy).
- Industrial experience including fault finding and root cause analysis .
- Breakdown maintenance and diagnostic experience is desirable.
