We are currently seeking an experienced Floor Finisher & Concrete Polisher to join our team in a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the finishing and polishing of concrete flooring on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in floor finishing, epoxy work, and concrete polishing, along with a passion for delivering high-quality, precise work. Key Responsibilities:
- Finish and polish concrete floors to a high standard, ensuring smooth, durable surfaces.
- Apply epoxy coatings and other surface treatments as required.
- Interpret plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of flooring specifications.
- Operate floor grinding and polishing machinery and other related equipment.
- Ensure proper surface preparation before applying finishes or polish.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in floor finishing and concrete polishing.
- Proficient in epoxy application and various concrete polishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints.
- Experience with hand and power tools used in concrete finishing and polishing.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to floor finishing and polishing.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, precise finishes.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour for extended periods.
- A valid driver’s licence.
