Fitness Assistant Manager - Full Time

Are you passionate about fitness and driven to lead a team to success? We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Assistant Gym Manager to join our One55 tribe and help us achieve our goals while inspiring others to reach theirs!

About the Role:

This is a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of One55, ensuring that our facilities run smoothly, and supporting our team of fitness professionals. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing staff, resolving issues, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service.

About you:

Demonstrated people management experience in the health and fitness industry (3-5 years);
Motivated to drive operational performance, reaching KPI's and hitting monthly sales targets;
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills;
Passion for fitness;
Strong time management skills and problem solving abilities;
Proven track record in administrative and operational management;
Strong administrative abilities with proficiency in relevant software and systems; and
Cert III in Fitness and a current Provide First Aid Certificate.

Duties include:

Create a fun environment where staff love to work and members love to push their limits.
Be an ambassador and ensure One55 provides excellent customer services at all times.
Assist with attracting new members and keep existing members coming back by offering a quality member experience through first class service and standards.
Recruit, train, lead, motivate, and support the fitness team to ensure high performance and professional development.
Analyse reports and delivering club statistical information.
Design and implement sales strategies to drive membership growth.
Create and implement marketing activities in club and within the local community.
Creating a culture within the Gym that is welcoming, supportive, inclusive and fun.
Food Safety Supervisor for ONE55 cafe (training will be provided)
