What is the opportunity?
As the Equities Facilitation Trader, you will be responsible for the execution of client orders on Australian market for Australian, Asian and international accounts.
What will you do?
- Develop and initiate growth strategies for the Facilitation trading desk.
- Manages and has overall responsibility for the use of capital to facilitate institutional client orders.
- Assist with executions and reporting of RBCEL orders for their APAC markets.
- Solicit and support the trading of Australian and Asian accounts into offshore markets via our offshore branches.
- Maintain and manage stock loan (Apex) positions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Degree educated
- Good knowledge of Australian equities market and financial markets generally
- DTR-qualified
- Ability to work in a team and be a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Must maintain level of knowledge through CPD
