Job purpose
We are looking for a strategic End User Experience Manager to oversee the daily operations of our end-user environment . In this key role, you'll design our end user computing platform, establish technology standards, and develop a technology roadmap aligned with our business goals. You will collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure compliance and drive exceptional customer experiences. Additionally, you'll lead talent development and resource management. Key Responsibilities Include:
Strategic & Business Planning - Align IT architecture with I-MED's strategic goals. Maintain a flexible, stable IT architecture that adapts to evolving business needs. Collaborate with IT leaders to develop architecture solutions that support the wider business stratergy
Technology Responsibilities – Oversee, Windows desktops and hardware, VDI management, Mobile device management, Office 365 services, Application deployment, Desktop security and patching, and monitoring
Demand & Capacity Management - Manage IT infrastructure capacity to meet service levels. Optimise existing resources, forecast future needs, and regularly update the Capacity Plan. Forecasting for a continuous lifecycle management framework for End user devices, Resource planning and scheduling is essential
Availability Management - Ensure service availability meets current and future needs cost-effectively. Monitor performance, maintain an Availability Plan, and regularly review and improve availability processes.
Change Management - Coordinate IT infrastructure changes to minimise customer impact. Prioritise requests, manage change meetings, and update change logs. Analyse trends to improve future changes.
Security Management - Develop and enforce I-MED's Security Policy. Monitor security breaches, manage incidents, and regularly review security controls.
Operations Management - Lead proactive operational management to achieve quality and efficiency goals . Collaborate with IT to enhance infrastructure, manage the I-MED Infrastructure team, and ensure knowledge sharing.
Relationship Management- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors. Promote staff engagement and collaboration across I-MED's teams and business units.
Team Leadership - Foster a collaborative environment by setting clear expectations and recognising contributions. Communicate I-MED's objectives and implement effective performance management strategies.
You:
The ideal candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in business information systems, computer science, or IT, with a preference for MCA or MCSE certification from an accredited facility. ITIL or equivalent methodology accreditation is also preferred. With experience managing an IT department, including leading teams and individuals, the candidate should ideally have experience in a healthcare environment. A strong demonstration of operational, financial and business acumen is essential for this role.
