The Opportunity:
We are looking for a number of dedicated and passionate Educator's to join our team in a casual capacity at Lockyer Valley Early Education Centre. If you are passionate about early childhood education, providing quality outcomes for children and working with a team of professionals that share your enthusiasm and commitment, we want to hear from you!

$34-$43 per hour + super

Position requirements:
The successful applicant must be passionate, reliable, flexible, have attention to detail and be able to meet the following criteria;

Assistants – Certificate III qualified or studying towards
Lead Educators – Diploma in Children's services or studying towards and hold a Certificate III
All staff must hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training and a current Blue Card
Be available within our Centres opening times and for last minute shifts

Your day-to-day:

Each day you will contribute to the care and education of children, through supervision and engagement
Children’s health and safety will always be your first priority
You will sing, laugh, play and get messy while you are at work
Then we clean up, there are nappies to do, mopping and cleaning as part of our general hygiene practices
We will cover the costs of your study if you would like to upskill in your career

Our Centre: Lockyer Valley Early Education Centre opened in March 2004 and cares for up to 117 children aged from birth to school age each day. We have a great team of long term staff and are passionate about providing our children and families with amazing programs like Farm Kindy and Heathy Eating workshops. Acknowledging Country is a common practice in our service where we respect the continuing connection of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander Traditional Owners and Custodians to the land on which our service stands.
