Job Description

We are seeking Drivers for work in the Central Suburbs of Sydney. To apply you should be living within 20 k’s of Bondi. There are certain key skills and requirements below that must be adhered to. AGE IS NO BARRIER.

COMPANY PROFILE:

COREASSIST is a registered NDIS provider. We currently received a transport contract by the NSW Education Department in Bondi.

THE ROLE

• As a driver you are required every morning (MON-FRI) to pick up the child/ren from home and drop them off at school and vice versa in the afternoon.
• There are two methods of transport; either you use your own vehicle or we provide you with a 12-seater bus, depending on the number of students.
• We are looking for reliable drivers who hold a full driver's licence (not probationary.).
• Have good communication skills with the client, family members and other professionals if required.
• Have a high standard of professionalism and maintain a good driving record.
• Monitoring the safety and well-being of clients whilst transporting them.
• There are two methods of transport; either you use your own vehicle or we provide you with a 12-seater bus, depending on the number of students.
• Hours vary from 15hr - 20hrs per week, depending on the distance.

KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

You must be living in Australia (the positions are in Sydney). Able to begin work in Bondi every morning.

Drivers are required to have:

• Copy of your driving history dating 1 - 10 years
• Current CPR / First Aid Certificate (or able to get one)
• Current Working with Children Check (or able to get one)
• Current Federal Police Check. (or able to get one)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (not probationary)
• Comprehensive Car Insurance and Current Registration
• Drivers must be cleared through the department's probity assessment before commencement.
