Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) are an established provider of Community Care Services in Queanbeyan NSW. We pride ourselves on delivering tailored care to enhance the quality of life for our clients and their families. Our ultimate goal is to support clients to remain at home and engaged in their local community.
We are looking for casual Domestic Services Assistants who have a keen interest in Aged and Community care to provide domestic services to our clients residing in Queanbeyan and surrounds.
The Role
We are looking for Domestic Assistants based within and around Queanbeyan NSW. We are looking for candidates with the confidence and ability to work autonomously and travel to client's homes. You should be open to providing client services from Monday to Friday, between 7 AM and 6 PM, with a range of morning and afternoon shifts available.
Duties & responsibilities include:

Domestic Tasks - general dusting, ironing, vacuuming, mopping, putting a load of washing on & bathroom or kitchen cleaning (domestic assistance can vary between each client)
Follow the clients care plan
Ability to time manage your workload
Enthusiastic & passionate about providing a caring quality service for the elderly
At all times, apply safe work practices when using chemical products & cleaning equipment
Well presented with a positive attitude
Model team qualities such as respect, helpfulness, cooperation & support
Respect for clients property & belongings

Qualifications

Current National Police Check
Prior experience working with the elderly
