The Document Control Administrator is responsible for managing controlled and technical documents/drawings and other essential information for ATCO in Australia. The role focuses on ensuring efficient organisation, accessibility, and compliance, thereby facilitating seamless collaboration across teams within the organisation.
What does Success looks like
Manage the document lifecycle for all controlled and technical documents, ensuring effective review, version control, and seamless processes.
Uphold quality control standards, validating approvals before publication to ensure compliance and reliability.
Drive continuous improvement in technical information management, providing specialized support to enhance efficiency.
Develop and deliver training programs and user guides for effective use of the Electronic Document Management System.
Participate in reviews and audits to align with 9001:2008 Quality Management System requirements, driving process enhancements.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and records management policies for managing, storing, retrieving, and disposing of company records.
Maintain the Archive Register and collaborate with external providers for secure handling of physical records.
Exposure and Experience Qualifications
Certificate in relevant discipline advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated experience in the following:
Document lifecycle management, including control and versioning for technical documents and general information. Experience in an ISO 9001-accredited environment is advantageous.
Implementing and maintaining quality control standards for controlled documents, ensuring necessary approvals before publication.
Contributing to continuous improvement and providing specialised advice to enhance efficiency in information management.
Delivering training programs for the effective use of the Electronic Document Management System and controlled document processes.
Familiarity with legal requirements and records management policies for compliance with company records.
