An exciting opportunity exists for a Coordinator Roster Allocations to be responsible for the effective and efficient roster and leave management for Operational Support Services (OSS) staff which ensures teams are rostered appropriately to deliver safe and quality support services at Nambour General Hospital in line with the provisions of Industrial Awards and Health Service requirements.
You will coordinate and manage the shift scheduling, review, and recommend roster and operational staffing strategies, in consultation with the relevant line managers, to provide approved monthly rosters. You will establish and manage systems and processes to accurately track and record staff attendance, absences and leave rostering.
Operational Support Services includes the Environmental Service and Food Service. The Environmental Service provides the resources to support cleaning, linen supply, waste collection and staff for patient movement (porterage).

Key Responsibilities include:
- Establish, review and maintain replacement strategies for short and long-term absences (i.e., sick leave, annual leave, long service leave etc).
- Develop and review rosters and staffing strategies (including recruitment) to maximise operational efficiencies and meet QH awards and policies.
- Complete and submit accurate staff movement and leave documentation in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain accurate recording and documentation for operational, annual and long service leave rostering.
Remuneration value up to $91 760 p.a., comprising salary between $73 533 - $80 423 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (OO4)(Permanent Full-Time, 76hrs p.f. ) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
